This week we met and gave weights to each design specification. We also rated the potential solutions, so we could find the optimal solution using the highest number. We discovered we need to do some more research on the power for the internal to complete that Pugh Chart. Jack also is going to look at how the different battery options are compatible with powering the arduino. The Pugh Chart for the computer hardware and the configuration of the controller are done. We do have a couple of questions for Dr. Klaesner.

We do have a couple of questions for Dr. Klaesner.
- We were wondering if the design specs need to include a production cost and a consumer cost? Right now we just have production cost and do not think consumer is necessary, but we want to check.
- We also were wondering if the changes to design spec section of the written report should ideally include a table, or paragraphs, or both?
- Lastly, we were wondering if everything in the Pugh Chart needs to be discussed in the paper? Like each rating and why it was given. We are thinking that would be too in depth.
Answer from Dr. Klaesner:
- Not sure what you mean by the first question. In general, production cost will be about 1/3 of the final cost.
- Changes in design specs should just say that we updated design specs... full of specs can be found in a table in the appendix.
- No. Generally a full pugh chart is included in appendix. specific parts of it with top 3 or 4 solutions with the 4 or 5 most important specs will be in paper and most of that will be discussed if they are critical for why one is better than the others.
